Every move we run is a small logistics puzzle: the right crew, the right vehicle, the right slot, at an address where parking is never guaranteed. The coordinator is the person who solves that puzzle, day after day, and then tells everyone what the answer is. If you enjoy holding a busy schedule in your head and reshaping it when a job overruns, this is a role you will like.

You will be the voice customers hear when they enquire, and the voice crews hear when the plan changes. Both halves matter equally, and the job suits someone who can be reassuring on one call and decisive on the next.

What the job involves

  • Answering enquiries by phone, email, WhatsApp and the website quote form, and responding the same day
  • Surveying jobs over the phone or video call to work out volume, access and crew size, then preparing the quote
  • Following up quotes and converting them into confirmed bookings
  • Building the daily schedule: allocating crews and vehicles across removals, courier and pallet work
  • Rerouting the day when a job overruns, a vehicle breaks down or someone calls in sick
  • Keeping customers updated on arrival windows, delays and completion
  • Raising invoices, chasing payment and keeping job records accurate and complete
  • Coordinating with pallet network partners and subcontractors on distribution work
  • Handling complaints properly: listening first, fixing what can be fixed, and being straight about the rest

What we are looking for

  • Experience in a customer-facing office, dispatch, transport planning or scheduling role
  • Clear, confident spoken and written English: most of the job is communication
  • The ability to hold several jobs in your head at once and reprioritise calmly when the plan breaks
  • Comfort with spreadsheets, email and booking or CRM software; we will train you on our systems
  • Accuracy with detail, because a wrong postcode or a missed access note costs a crew half a day
  • The right to work in the UK

Helpful, but not essential

  • Removals, courier, freight forwarding or pallet network experience
  • Working knowledge of London geography, congestion and ULEZ zones and parking suspensions
  • Experience quoting or estimating jobs commercially
  • A second language spoken by our customer base

What we offer

  • Real ownership of the schedule rather than a script to read from
  • Paid holiday, workplace pension and paid Saturday rota cover
  • Some home working once you are up to speed
  • Training towards operations management as the company grows
  • A small, direct team where good ideas get tried the same week
